The fame of Elzevir’s books was once described as “worth its weight in gold” and there were many typefaces named Elzevir in the past. For some reason, it was dwindled and is almost forgotten nowadays. However, its relatively large x-height, as it was a Dutch tradition, and sharpness are amiable to contemporary readers and electric devices.
